Frequently Asked Questions

What is multitouch attribution in affiliate marketing?

Multitouch attribution in affiliate marketing is a way of crediting multiple partners or touchpoints that influenced a customer before they converted, instead of giving all credit to just the first or last click.

Because multiple affiliates can influence a sale, ReferZone provides resources for merchants to split up commissions as needed.

How do custom commission structures work on ReferZone?

Merchants are free to set up commission models that suit their needs. You can offer percentage of the sale, flat rates, custom rates for certain affiliates, product-level commissions, and much more!

Is ReferZone free for affiliates?

Absolutely! ReferZone is open to anyone that has an audience that they can promote products to. So if you have a social media account with followers, or a website with readers, then you're welcome to join as an affiliate.

How does ReferZone handle international payments?

ReferZone supports international payments to many countries around the world, and we pay out via ACH direct deposit.

Do I need a business entity to receive payments?

No! Individual affiliates can receive payments without forming a business entity in most countries. Some regions may have specific requirements for high-volume affiliates.

Are there minimum payout amounts?

Affiliates are able to receive payouts when they have accrued at least $50 of eligible commissions.

What about tax forms?

ReferZone will generate and provide 1099-MISC forms for US-based affiliates that have earned at least $600 in commissions. International affiliates are responsible for reporting their earnings in accordance with their countries' laws and regulations.

What happens if a payment fails?

Failed payments are automatically retried. You'll receive email notifications about any issues, and our support team will help resolve payment problems quickly.

How are exchange rates determined?

Exchange rates are updated twice daily based on mid-market rates. These are typically more favorable than traditional bank rates.

What if my country isn't listed?

We're constantly expanding our coverage through Stripe. Contact our support team for alternative payment arrangements or to request priority for your country.
